Motor has a steady stream of water out of tell tale hole after warms up stream starts sputtering and gets hotter, removed lower unit connected water hose to the copper tube eliminating water pump, does same thing would head gasket cause this thanks or good guess

Is it a salt water motor. Check the thermostat

no thermostat not sure about salt water

Agreed!..... You questioned the head gasket in your first post. We need to know the compression psi reading of all cylinders.

compression has dropped a little from 120+ to 110s top cyl 5 lbs less probably pull head off today may possibly be able to tell thanks

Check plugs,extremely clean with water droplets,head gasket issues
