Received an installed Carburetor Kit Will the Float work correctly regardless the install? When the flat is installed should the metal strip be UP close to the carburetor body or reversed.

Are you working on a carb that's been taken apart by someone else? Been there, brother. Tab is upwards, float parallel to carb body. Don't exert any pressure on needle valve, they are easily damaged.
