UNDER FULL THROTLE AND IN RIV

UNDER FULL THROTLE AND IN RIVER CURENT WATER THE LOWER UNIT WANTS TO SLIP. ARE THE CLUTCHES BAD OR IS THERE AN AJUSTMENT.

Can't help you with the guts of that lower unit, but be sure it's not just a prop that is slipping in the water or spun on the prop-shaft.

"Robert..... There is nothing to slip within that lower unit. If it was jumping out of gear, it would give you the sensation that you were hitting some object every so often.

I agree with Jon that either the prop hub is slipping, or the engine is mounted too high, something of that nature.
