"The currently recommended plugs are UL77V or L16V according to Boatsetup.com.
UL77V were the originally recommended plugs for sustained high speed operation
They are surface gap plugs.

For low speed operation the original alternative was L77J4 for which you would now substitute L77JC4, but the inductive resistor version QL77JC4 is a better choice for electronic ignition systems. These would be gapped at 0.030"
