1979 100hp evinrude will not start

just replaced solenoid for th

just replaced solenoid for the 2nd time . boat was starting right up for 3 days . now I have now fire from bottom of solenoid to starter. Push in key and I hear a clicking sound( choke )?. But will not say anything when key is turned. checked all fuses and connections . think bad ignition but do not know how to get into control box to remove . help

"I did this once then found out the solenoid was for a car not marine. There is a problem with the ground on the car solenoid, if you the car one you need a ground wire to the block."
