Does the trim motor run for a short while befor the leg starts to go down?

"no, you can hear the motor but it sounds bogged down,it would probably take 20 min to get it down by the switch if it would even make it down,I didnt want to run to long,I tried the switch for about 40 seconds at a time with no luck"

There is more trim up than dow

There is more trim up than down pressure...i have found in the past the tilt ram upper bush is seized and needs to be freed up.

"Does the internal pump motor thermal relay activate? If the motor is drawing too many amps, it will click off and resets on cooling.
If the relay is not engaging, does this give a clue?"
