" I just finished some work on

" I just finished some work on this motor for a friend. I need to run it on a stand in a barrel. Jumping the starter is easy, but what other wires need to be jumped for spark. the remote control and harness are far away on the boat. I do not want to hurt the alternator or any other components by doing this. Thanks Joe "

" Make sure the wiring harness

" Make sure the wiring harness is unplugged. You can start the motor by jumbing the starter solenoid. The engine does not need power to create spark. To stop the engine, you can choke it or remove the fuel line. Be careful if you remove the line because it can lean out a cylinder.
Good luck and have fun on the Water. "
