1978 johnson 125hp

I was wondering if anyone knows the best site to order parts for my 125 johnson outboard. I think I'm going to need a coil, I just bought a 18' galaxy with this motor. Thanks

also are you sure that is the correct year/horsepower of that engine because i dont see it in the brp parts catlog...

Yea thats what the plate said inside the engine, but I cant find that size in that year either, any suggestions?

you sure its not a 115 or 150 or something?
they didnt make any johnson's with the horsepower 125 between the years of 1972-1989.....

I'll look at the plate again, the hood says 125 and the plate said 1978, but something does'nt add up. Thanks omc

Yes it is a 125esl71c, and I just fired it up, but the power tilt doesnt work and it seems the steering is frozen, so I guess I have a little work to do, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, since my other boat is nothing like this one.

so the engine is a 1971?

Yes, the plate is on the motor mount.
