Hello, I just purchased a boat with a
So I cleaned the carb and put in a new fuel pump.
It won’t run on a regular idle still, and if I can get it to stay running and bump it into gear it’ll jump and then shut off.
I also noticed some what looked like oil coming from the weep hole, and then I checked the gear fluid and it was milky white.
I’m thinking about getting it serviced but it sounds like a handful of problems that it’d just be cheaper to look at a newer motor.
This is my first boat so if anyone has any suggestions it’d really be a big help.
