Hey guys!
I have a 1978 Mercury Gnat engine I picked up cheap as it was missing a few parts. I managed to get it running after fixing one thing after another. I currently have the lower unit apart to re-seal it.
While I was running it, I noticed the prop turns regardless if it's in gear or not. I tried switching back and forth a few times. No luck. Everything seems to be in place.
