1977 Mercury 1150 Wiring Harness Replacement Options

I am replacing the motor side and boat side wiring harness on my 1977 Merc 115HP Inline 6 (1150) S# 4689451 and would like to know if there is any quality difference between the harness manufactured by CDI and the harness manufactured by Sierra?

how did that work? i have same. motor with. 40 original hours but wires disintegrated
