Hello I have the said above outboard have question concerning the remote. Will the Evinrude Command Center remote swap or interchange with power pilot remote please, I have power pilot it's no good. Can get a well taken care of command center remote thank you

Any control box with the big red plug will work.------If you have to change shift / throttle cable length you need the different cables on the newer control boxes.-----The newer ones used " snap in " cables.

79 & later cables have the black plastic ends on the remote end & plug right into control. Engine end will have the ends installed but will not have the springy pivoting latch. I believe you can transfer your over. RACER, can you add any info?

The newer controls use the " snap in " cables.----It is the best way to go and makes adjustments easy at the motor.
