I have the carbs with the intragal fuel pumps and my question concerns the fuel pump kits. There are several different diaphrams included with the kits. Which one is the right one for my motor? One is a very thin black rubber and another is a thicker black rubber, and finaly one is a thicker brownish type material. they are all excactly alike except for the thickness. I am not confusing them with the gaskets. I know the difference. Any help is sure appreciated. i have been having to run to my fishing hole pumping my bulb to keep fuel pressure.

The ones I've seen use a fiberglass-looking material as a spring, with the thin rubber one as the seal.

Thanks Jeff! I will go back tonight and change. What still confuses me is my parts diagram in my manual only shows one diaphram used but you are suggesting two. One as the spring and one as the seal. What side would I use the fiberglass looking one, against the housing or against the gasket if i also used the thin one as well?

I guess I should have made clear how I came to this dilema. I took my carbs apart and discarded everything and dropped in solvent to clean before I ever recieved my kits. I assumed I would remember how to reassembly because I have messed with motors all my days. But when the kits came back with multiple options I realized a made a hasty mistake and was not nearly as smart as I thought I was.
Thanks for the help!
