"Have read alot of posts here in the last few days. Just wondering if anyone has an idea of the GPH this boat will burn. it weighs 11,000 to 12,000 lbs it planes nicely between 2200 and 2400 rpm. Also would like to know what rpm should be at WOT. This boat is original and engines are tired."

My brothers early 80's 32 Silverton got 1 - 1.1 mile per gal.
360cid with 4bbl carbs. 4 blade props
I don't think that he could stay no plane at that low of RPM.
Ask the guys on the Crusader Marine forum, the guys will at least talk to you."

"Bill, I have a pair of 318's in my 31 Trojan, I think the weight is close, with you being a little fatter than me. My sweet spot is around 27-2800 rpm, giving me a cruise speed of 24-26 mph (depending on conditions) & fuel consumption of about 15 to 16 gph, As for WOT, mine spin up to just over 4000 rpm, with you being a little bigger & heavier, you should be close to those figures the WOT should be around the same.

Thanks for the feed back Peter the guy I might be buying from was talking about 30 GPH and my jaw dropped!! And thank you for the WOT numbers
