Just need to know if gear lube is ok to use in the case that drives the stringer up and down.

yes, it will work just fine in there.

Thanks , I have 80w-90 gear lube. Just wasnt sure.

SAE 30 is recommended. Found my manual, thanks

actually, the SAE 30 recommendation is embossed right into the aluminum clutch cover near the level check plug, but gear lube is better. 85W140 goes in mine

Roger that and thanx, back up and running. Anyone know of someone talented with electrical work, i need a few wires hooked up to make my search/spot light work.
I have 80% of the job done. Thanx again.
