1976 80hp merc

Wondering if this would be a good buy ie parts still available, motor reliable etc. currently have a 89 force with lower end problems and some parts no longer available and thinking of switching brands

Are you sure it is '76? I can only find listings for 85HP in '76.Post engine number,it will be on the swivel bracket.Before you buy,do a compression check,110psi would be nice.
