Just took the motor off of a 7

Just took the motor off of a 76 glasstron tri hull 17' walkthru and put it on my 16' GlassStream bass boat. The Glasstron sat for 2 years after being rebuilt and will start and run until in the water. When I am in neutral it sounds fantastic but as soon as I put it in gear my RPM's drop off and it stalls. I have tried adjusting the throttles and the mechanical timing screw thing but can't seem to get it right. I am pretty sure that it will engage when I am out of the water with the ears on but not under load. I am semi savvy when it comes to this stuff but I am not a pro. If anyone can help me I would GREATLY appreciate it.

Second, with the spark plugs still removed, check the spark which should jump a 7/16" gap on all cylinders with a strong blue lightning like flame..... a real SNAP! Does it?

If the above is as it should be, in all probability the carburetors are fouled (a common problem). In which case, remove, clean, and rebuild all of them with complete carburetor kits."
