1976 140 OMC Engine change over

HI all you inboard Gurus
i have a 1976 OMC 140 Hp inboard whit only 60 psi in #4 cylinder i can not find the rings for the OMC 140, will the rings from a 140 merc cruiser fit
will a 140 merc cruiser GM block swap out for the OMC if so what years will fit

I am not sure what other engines use the same rings, but any engine rebuilding shop, or parts supplier will be able to supply the correct rings for your application.

You just need the cylinder bore diameter, ring land width, for both Compression and Oil Rings, and the number of rings required, and purchase the required amount.

Don't try and limit yourself to looking at Marine-only applications, as automotive parts are the same when it comes to most internal engine parts.
