1975 Mercrusier 140 shift control cable adjustment

What is the measurement for the other shift control cable from the middle of the brass barrel to the middle of the screw hole?
I have the lower control cable adjusted to 5 7/8" and that's working well. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks, Rob

that would be the lower shift cable, its usually set to 6 inches.only the lower cable has a brass barrel , the control cable end is plastic
