I had just dissassembled the c

I had just dissassembled the control box to lubricate and make a wiring repair on the switch on my 1975 115 hp Johnson.

Had everything all layed out and reassembley went well...everything fit except the lower box panel. The throttle mounting knob (the cylindrical piece that locks the cable into the box is displaced about 2 inches back (outside of the box and I can't get it to slide fwd into position.
Not sure if I did something wrong in the assembly of the handle mechanism or if the rod in the throttle cable moved. The throttle handle moves full range and the shift cable works.
Thanks for and advice. Mike

"I might add that I dissassmebled the lower panel with the warm up lever up so as to clear the lower panel. I don't know if wire shifted while dissassembled or if the throttle handle is in the wrong position.

Thanks, Mike"

Got back on the box in the day

Got back on the box in the daylight and found that there is a small plate that the warm up lever adj screw rests agains. I had it on the wrong side of the throttle cam.
It all fits a works now.
Thanks for the help JWB.
I have the shop manual and it does not have an exploded view of the box.
Mike
