I have a 9.9 Johnson It sat all winter. I dumped the gas from the tank. My neighbor gave me some oil he said it was 2 cyl. .. The motor started in two pulls as always. I took it up the river a 1/4 mile and went down a little over a 1/4 mile then came to the dock easy and shut it off. It ran good and sounded jod. I bought it home took my lady to the river the next day and it wouldn't start. I put a fuel pump on it I feel the spark is good enough it's getting air has great comp. But it won't fire not even on ether. If I put fuel in the cyl. and hold the plug at the side of the hole it will ignite the fuel. Put the plug in nothing .. So I thought maybe the exhaust was glogged ? I started to think maybe that oil was grabby.. How do I check the exhaust ? Can I remove the four bolt and left the motor off ? Any help would be appreciated. One man said the carb. I took the carb off and it's as clean as a ----. Thank you
