I am not quite sure how to start this motor. (I mean am not sure what to do first and the next step and so on to start the motor) It has a warm-up lever, and another small switch below the keyhole. Cheers.

Small switch below the ignition switch is the electric choke switch.

Starting Procedure:

1 - Have the gas/oil mixed 50/1 (1 pint of TCWIII 50/1 oil to 6 gal of gas). A octane rating of 87 is fine.
2 - Pump the fuel primer bulb up until it is hard.
3 -3Raise the warm up lever to apply some throttle in neutral.
4 - Turn the key to the START position and at the same time engage the electric choke switch.
5 - When the engine fires/starts, release the choke switch and the key.

The key will return to the ON position and the choke will of course return to the OFF position. It may be necessary to toggle the choke switch a few times until the engine warms up somewhat. Lower the warm up lever to a normal idle when appropriate.

Thousands of parts in my remaining stock. Not able to list them all. Let me know what you need and I'll look it up for you. Visit my eBay auction at:

I have this same engine and so far has been bullet proof. The only time it did not start was when I didn't realize the kill switch lanyard had been pulled.

Be sure and check the lower unit lube level and water is presented to the water pump before cranking.
