My motor recently overheated and shut down prior to seizing. I've disassembled the lower unit and have decided to replace the entire water pump and some other gaskets, etc. I also ran water thru the head to make sure there were no blockages. Water ran thru with no problems.
The manual recommends lubricants and sealants for the reassembly. I have gearcase lube. Do you have recommendations for Gasket sealing compound, and OMC Adhesive "M"? Is OMC "Sea-Lube" Anti-Corrosion Lube the same as the ones I mentioned previously?
