"I just Recived this boat, and im trying to get the motor running, It will run, i put a boot on it but no water comes out. I only ran it about 10secs. Does it have thermostat that will open after a min or two, what should I do?"

"The majority of the water flows out thru the propeller to keep the hub cool. It does have a thermostat located at the rear lower portion of the powerhead.

When the thermostat opens, water will flow out thesmall holes/slots that are located to just above and to the rear of the cavitation plate (plate that exists just above the propeller).

If it overheats, the warning horn should sound. To check horn, engine NOT running, key in ON position, short out TAN wire that protrudes from cylinder head (heat sensor). Horn should sound.
