Been wrestling with this one for awhile. 9.8 runs great for 10 minutes, then power drops and it runs rough. All of a sudden it will kick back in to full power with a thud. Then it will happen all over again.
I thought it was dropping a cylinder. Bad coil I'm thinking. Spark on both cylinders, and it jumps a 3/4" gap, lots of voltage.
Took it out today to test it after I repaired a wire on the kill switch. Same thing. So I shut it off, pulled a plug wire and tried to start it so I could isolate which coil it is. It started on each cylinder. Im starting to think maybe its not an ignition issue, and if not i don't know what it could be. Any advice on where to go next from you knowledgeable folks would be much appreciated.
