Can someone tell me if this is correct? Maybe I am doing the cable install totally wrong. When I find the sweet spot on motor between N and R, install cable, install throttle and start the motor with muffs and see if I can put it in F-N-R??
So far When I do this I only have the motor off, and I am not spinning the prop as I try the shifter to see if it goes into gears all of the way. What I am finding from others is that when you have all cables installed, you need to run the motor to see if you have the remote control synced up with the motor gears????
No luck in the water! I was able to shift in F gear and in N but in R it only rev's up the motor and will not go to N. Its almost like the control shifter is hitting something cause I can't budge it! When I look at the cable on the motor there is more room to go in either direction back into reverse and in forward gear. Again I am working with new cables. Its gotta be an adjustment out of wack
