"I installed an inline fuel filter this morning before going to the lake ran ok on the muffs. When I backed into the water and started the motor it fast idled ok but started to be a little erratic I checked the filter and there was practically no fuel in the filter. Tried to back off the trailer and engine died, and continued to die when I put in gear. I pumped the bulb and filled filter engine cranked fine.
What did I do wrong with the filter install."
