I have a 1975 Evinrude 25hp that I took down to the lake to start for the first time. It started on second pull and ran till all gas was gone in second half line past prime ball. I noticed the ball was hard and replaced and now Iam getting gas to the engine but not the carb HELP

It is getting gas to the carb

Is the tank full of fresh mix. Pull the spark plugs and see if they are wet if so see if they burn with a match. It could be you slugged some water put a small dish under the carb and remove to lower plug on the float bowl and see if you can pump fuel into the carb, then look to see if water is in the dish water will look like bubbles on the bottom of the dish?

Yes gas is fresh I pulled the line going to carb it has gas. But it dont seem to be getting in carb. How much would it be to get it rebiult or is this some thing I can do my self and is there any help paper work out there

carb kits are under 20 bucks, look in parts section on this site. if you have even basic mechanical skills you can rebuild it urself

Check Youtube for videos on how to rebuild your carb...pretty easy job. Sometimes the fuel connector on the engine gets plugged on old OBs. Bypass the connection by connecting the squeeze primer line directly to the fuel line on the other side of the connector.
