My TNT motor has a chronic pro
My TNT motor has a chronic problem of tripping out on the overload relay in the motor. It make take 5 or so trys to get to full tilt. Same way down. I have had this motor since '88 and it has always done this. The system has been well maintained and the oil changed once a year and has never had water in it. The pivot if free and the system works a normal otherwise.
The local OMC dealer can get a new motor and reserviour for $315.
My question is it worth spending this amount on an old unit our should I consider the CMC tilt system of something less than twice this cost?
