Hey everybody.
I'm having an issue with a 1974 envinrude 115 starflite. When I crank the engine it doesn't want to fire, but when I take the plugs out and spray them with quick dry electrical cleaner they become dry and the engine fires and runs fine. I can turn it off and on again with no problems but after it sits for about 30 minutes the same thing happens no fire... and I have to spray the plugs to dry them again... after I do that it starts no problem. Same thing happens when i run the carbs put of fuel to stall the motor. My question is what is up with these plugs? Is water getting into cylinder via the water jacket or head gasket? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks I advance,
Bryan
