"My issues started last year after I didn't open the vent on my plastic gas tank and it was flattend by the time I noticed. After that the engine didn't have enough power to plane the boat. I rebuilt the fuel pump, replaced the gas lines (thinking the suction stretched things). Compression 140-150 on all cylinders. The boat always started and idled fine.
This year found coil 2 not working, relaced it. All others working. I have marked improvement now, boat will plane, however it's lacking around 25% of the power it had last year?? Any idea's I can try to get it back?? Someone mentioned "high speed jets could be dirty/need adjustment" Does that fit this scenario? Thanks"
