1974 4hp drive shaft removal?

I have a 1974 4hp merc and i need to replace the prop seals. I know I need to remove the drive shaft first i took off the water pump housing and the snap ring below that i am down to the big ball bearing and i don't have a clue how to remove it or if I missed something a long the way please help

You need to remove the propshaft bearing housing and the propshaft.-----------The driveshaft has a bolt on the bottom that must be removed !!-----It will not come out the way you would like.-----------------Now work very carefully on this as some parts may break / left hand thread on the big nut / and parts are expensive if indeed they are available. ---Good luck.
