Ok you more experienced techs, I need some help here.

This engine idles good most of the time, but when giving a little throttle it just falls on it's butt.
I have already cleaned carb when customer brought it the first time. After that it ran great here, with no hesitation or problems.
Customer took it back and ran on the lake and it started falling on it's butt like he said it did the first time.
The more I ran it here today the worse it got.
Tried adjusting the slow speed needle both ways but it has no real affect.

Compression is #60 on both cylinders.
Fuel pump is strong with new fuel (no ethanol) in my test tank.
Good spark both plugs, plugs cleaned.

I'm not too familiar with this style engine as it has points and a condenser etc.

Any help appreciated.

I took flywheel off and checked points, not burnt, gaped at .020 as stamped on flywheel

Question> Both coils have cracked laminate. Is that not good?

The coils are scrap !--------If you take them off the magplate one likely has a hole in it and it is grounding to the magplate , instead of jumping the gap in the sparkplug.------------These coils are cheap and easy to replace.--------I see motors like that all the time, you typically take the flywheel off and find 2 cracked coils or two brand new ones.

Yea it's pretty weird. Even tho the spark isn't strong, the engine will start on the first pull with the choke on.
Customer ordered 2 coils and points today
