1973 9.5 Evinrude controls

I just scored a nice 9.5 1973, but it has the attachments on the engine for controls.
What should I be looking for on ebay and such should I later want to mount shifting and throttle remotely?

I currently plan to go over it and use it as a kicker, since my main engine is a 65HP 1973.
The perfect match.

Also, the tiller handle is cracked. I have a 72 Johnson parts motor the guy gave me as well.
Part #'s don't match. Is that only because of the color?
72 and 73 Evinrude are the same, as well as 72 and 73 Johnson on the tiller handle. I may just JB Weld it and paint as there is an aluminum tube inside the housing.

The shift lever looks kinda trick, but how does the throttle cable affix to the motor? Post a pic?

Throttle is that black disk. The connection looks exactly like my 65HP except 90 deg different.
