1973 25HP Evenrude, Ignition Spark Problem

Compression on Engine cylinders 110psi. Sitting for 40 years.Won't start. Faint Spark on Bottom Cylinder. Switch point wires now it is the opposite. Points aren't Burnt. Thinking possibly the condensers are bad. Other then what I've tried. They are not shorted. Coils and wires good continuity. Going to replace the condensers do to there age than use.
Thanks John.

I went through this with a 76 that had the exciter coil on the inside and two external coils I ended up converting it to the old school system you have and it runs great. I would go soup to nuts after 40 years, points, condensers, coils and spark plug wires. For 50$ you have 100% new ignition and no guessing. For the price of shipping you may as well order everything rather than piece-mealing it. JMHO Once you get it running you may as well do thermostat and waterpump so you don't get 40 year old rubber pump vains stuck in the cooling system. If you got good comp all this is worth it. Motor is an 80lb torque monster.

It appears to be a robust system. Lasting for so long. Good direction. Thanks John.
