"How do you change the water pump in this motor, its starting to run hot, so I know its time to change it, but don't know where to start. What all do I need to do this?}"

you'll need a water pump s

you'll need a water pump service kit. You don't say what model engine it is but you will have to separate the gearcase from the leg. There are various ways in which the gear shift rod may have to be disconnected depending upon the model.(Unless it is a 2 or a 4 hp with a fixed drive)
