Hello, On this 72 100hp Johnson, 100ESL72R I was wondering what the easiest way is to drop the 2 electric shift wires, (green, blue), to remove the lower unit to change the impeller? in the belly pan they are in what looks like the stock rubber covered tube or hose, it looks tight, does the whole shebang go down the hole or do they get unhooked a little further up under what looks like about an inch of tight rubber or heat wrap then go through the rubber hose seperatly? looks like I should drop some oil in the tube if they go through it. Any info would be helpfull, thanks in advance.

The rubber tubes hide the wire connectors.------------Slide them one way or the other and open the connector.---------Lubricate wires where they pull through the housing.-----------Attach something so that wires can be pulled back up.--Don,t forget the bolt under the trim tab.
