"For a rebuild, I'd suggest the book "How to Rebuild: Small-block Mopar". In addition to good instruction, it has casting number break downs, etc.....so you can get an idea of your baseline specs (head combustion chamber volume, etc.). The book also contains some milling/machine specs for a rebuild.
If you're looking for a more aggressive modifiction specs, there are plenty of build-up articles online (from mild to wild). However, using any of those articles as blue prints or how-to's is taking a leap of faith.....becuase although the final dyno numbers may be impressive, you never know the true outcome (reliability, etc.). Not to mention that these set ups rarely translate to marine use."
