"My 4hp merc leaks fuel from the carburetor.I adjusted float according to my seloc manual.Could this be the fuel pump?Is the pump serviceable?

"Have you replaced any of the hoses to the carb. If Not then, It would seem like the carb is getting too much gas and flooding. Where exactly is it coming out from? The jets on the carb if it has any may not be working correctly try a carb rebuild kit."

"Actually i did replace the hoses on the motor .Curious to know why that would make a difference?The gas is coming out of the front of the carb where the choke shutter is.I believe it does have jets,have to check.BTW,thanks for the response.Charlie."
 
There is something wrong with

There is something wrong with the float / floatvalve take it apart and redo your work.Remove the float valve and blow out that inlet hose.
