Hi guys i just purchased a new lower end unit for a 20hp Johnson.. i pulled it all apart cleaned it all up .
Upon Draining the oil there was about 100ml of clear water then a brown type oil that came out. The motor it came off had been sitting out in the weather for about 2 yrs.. Im thinking i will need to crack the case and do a reseal or is it just beacuse its been sitting around for a long time why it has water in it i think the cover of the motor was off also for this time..
My question is where can i buy a seal kit for this motor?. also is there any tutorials on how to do this.. as its an old engine i want to do it myself..
