Hey guys, first post here.
I just got a 1971 Johnson 4 hp motor from an old guy for 50 bucks. He said it hadn't been run in over 20 years, and it looks new under the hood. Got it home and gave it some fresh gas/oil in it and it started up after a few pulls. Anyway, it will only run with the choke fully pulled. This leads me to believe I need to rebuild the carb. I am having trouble finding a carb kit (many websites just list the individual parts). I also need a johnson service manual for this engine. If one of you guys could give me a link to what I'm looking for I would really appreciate it. The model # is 4W71D. Thanks!
