1971 85HP Evinrude wonbt restart

I recently purchase a 1971 85H

I recently purchase a 1971 85HP Evinrude model 85193H. It started the day I checked it out and started when I put it in the water. I put it in gear and it stalled. It turns over but won't start. Has a brand new battery in it and I believe it is getting gas. It won't restart. Any ideas? Thanks. Sorry if this is duplicated I am new here. WOODY
