"I am re-wiring an old aluminum boat.I sold the 40 evinrude and installed my dads 35 chrysler.The ignition switch was wired all wrong and i dont know how it ever worked.I am using wiring from a chrysler so the wire colours will match.I am trying to figure out which connection to use as the kill switch.I know that when i turn the switch to the off position,the two positions marked M connect to each other.I have the engine ground on one.Which wire goes on the other,purple(gen.),or blue(ign.)?"
