When i shift from neutral to r

When i shift from neutral to reverse the prop spins and clicks. Forward works fine... suggestions? Changed impeller tested in a water drum reverse/forward worked great. Took to the dock first time out and no reverse. Bad start to 5am sunday mornin fishing!

It sounds like it is not fully

It sounds like it is not fully engaging the reverse gear. (hopefully - the alternative is possibly a bad gear)

I would assume this is a console shift model (?) - could simply require a cable adjustment.
