1970 Merc 110 9.8 HP Sputtering on acceleration

Starts and idles great. Rebuilt fuel pump. Cleaned carb, new needle and seat, new gaskets. Needle drop set at spec'd 3/64" and 1/4" between top and bottom tangs. Idle mixture screw adjusted under load is set approx 1 turn out. Engine sputters when I try to accelerate. Want to check my wires and coils. Can anyone tell me what resistance should be on the top and bottom wires and on the primary and secondary circuits of the coils? Any ideas appreciated

Mixture screw should be set at 1.5 turns out. You may be starving it for fuel at 1 turn out

Try opening the mixture screw OUT another 1/4 turn at a time.
