One more dumb question< actually two. on the parts breakdown there is a "lead shot" pointing to bottom of carb. is that inside the bowl or the outside on the bottom. Also, on the top of carb. there is an opening should it be ?

When they drill passage ways in the carburetor they plug the hole with lead shot.----------So look at the bowl and see if that is in fact what they did on yours.-------The upper part of the carburetor must have a vent.----Do not plug any holes unless you are 110% sure they need to be plugged.
