1969 Evinrude 25 HP 25902B

Hello,
I have a couple of simple question about lubricating my 1969 25 hp Evinrude outboard. I need to lubricate the lower unit and am trying to figure out where to add the grease/oil. i am used to more modern engines with a zerk nozzle that you can just squirt grease into with a grease gun. On this outboard, however, it appears as if there is a drain plug at the bottom near the prop that you simply open with a phillips to drain some oil. On the same side of the engine, about 1/2 way up the shaft is a rectangular plate that can be removed, which is where it looks like you would add the oil. My question is where you add oil or grease to lubricate the lower unit? If so what type of oil should I use? Also I only found 2 zerks for the throttle arm. How would I lubricate the tilt and steering, etc.? I cant seem to find any other zerks.
Thanks for your help.

I recommend you keep the tool box closed and do some reading first.-Get a manual.-----------The window on the side is where the shift linkage is disconnected !--The phillips screw should not be removed to change the oil !-------There is a drain screw on the lower unit and a vent screw for oil change.-----You drain the gear oil and then fill from the BOTTOM until oil comees out the vent !!

You do not add oil via the vent screw !!-------Oil is checked / drained / filled via the drain screw and that has not changed in 60 + years.--------You check at the bottom to look for water intrusion whill kills most lower units.--A manual is something you need to invest in to save yourself a lot of trouble / money.

OK, but take it easy on the exclamation points!!! I am obviously not nearly as experienced or knowledgeable as you. I was confused by your last post, your most recent one was very explicit. Right now I'm just trying to get it started to see if it runs. It is a very low hour engine and seems to be in very good shape, I expect that it still needs some work though at which point I will get a manual.
Again, Thanks!
