"Just accquired a 69 Fastwin from an old fishing buddy and would like to add an electric starter. If anybody has any ideas at all, as to where I might find a used one, or kit, #172180 or newer #172401, i would be greatly appreciative."

"thanks jwbmarine. the numbers will be a big help. this eng came from a trusted friend though i've yet to run it in the tank. if it works out, i'd like to have the elec start. i'm looking to find a parts motor to cut the costs and get what parts i need. other than sierra, what sources would you recommend for parts?"
