Just wondering any thoughts on this outboard just bought it with a 14' glasstron is the engine a good one or problem . thanks for any replys

The engine is a good design.

The engine is a good design. The condition of it at the time will need to be your judgement call as anything mechanical can be neglected or cared for to any degree.
