Hey Guys i have an issue with my motor and i cannot figure it out... after i have it running and shut it off sitting in the water (on the boat in the river) it leaks fuel and i cannot figure out where the hell its coming from. my motor is a 1968 Evinrude Fastwin 18HP i have replaced all the fuel lines the line ( i believe to be a equilizer line) that goes from the top of the crank case to the bottom of the crank case. i have pulled my carb apart and made sure the bowl wasent leaking.... im stumped please any ideas or suggestions would be helpful.

I just rebuilt the carb about a month ago. I will try the soap water a try. Hopefully that's not the case because that would not be easy to fix...

That's the thing I don't get the motor runs great runs smooth good power and everything. I double and triple checked all the screws on the bowl of the carb and they're all tight. I'll double check the intake bolts and all the bolts on the crank case

I can see the fuel in the water and the whole inside of the engine compartment is covered in fuel. It is running down the outside of the exhaust tunnel.
